What a Swiss e-tax statement costs
CHF 19, once. Reading your export and seeing your full summary is free; the money is for the documents. CHF 19 at launch. Final price, no VAT added.

Money back if your canton rejects the import. And the fee itself is a deductible cost: eCH-0196 has a category for the cost of completing forms such as the DA-1, and this is exactly that.

Statement
One broker account, one tax year
CHF 19 once
- The eCH-0196 XML your cantonal software imports
- The PDF with the import barcode
- The filled DA-1 supplementary sheet
- An accessible online version of the same figures
- Money back if your canton rejects the import
A second broker account in the same tax year: + CHF 10, and one payment for both. Cards and TWINT. No account, no subscription.
Create my e-tax statementDA-1 claim
One past tax year you already filed
CHF 19 once
- The official form DA-1 for that year, its securities table filled in
- An annex listing every payment behind it, which is the evidence the form asks for
- A covering letter: where to post it, and what you still have to write on it
- Several broker accounts in that year at no extra cost — one tax period, one form
One tax year per claim: the form carries one Steuerperiode, so three missed years are three claims. A claim lapses three years after the tax year ends.

Up to five statements within twelve months
CHF 39 once
- Everything in Statement
- Five within twelve months, in any mix — statements, past-year DA-1 claims, broker accounts
- Cheaper than buying singly from three onwards: three separate purchases are CHF 57
- Your next statement is one click from your purchases page; a purchase code by email as the fallback
Two is not yet worth it: two singles are CHF 38. We would rather say so than sell you the bundle.

How it works
Where the CHF 19 sits in the process
Five minutes once you have the export file, and you see where you are on every screen. Getting that file out of your broker is the fiddly part, so we walk you through it.
-
Export
Get the right file out of your broker. Interactive Brokers needs a computer.
-
Upload
Say which broker, which tax year and which canton, and hand over the file.
-
Check
See every figure free: the reclaim, the positions, what was left out and why.
-
Unlock
Pay once, or use a credit from an earlier purchase.
-
Use
Download the files, then import them, scan the barcode, or hand them to your accountant.
Against the real alternative
The comparison is not with zero. It is with what a Swiss bank charges for the same document — from free at a few cantonal banks to well over CHF 100 at the brokers most private investors actually use. The cheapest paid figure in our table is Swissquote at CHF 85.00. If your bank gives you one free, use it; this is for people whose broker gives them nothing.
And the comparison is with a credit that otherwise goes unclaimed. The DA-1 sets the foreign tax already taken from your dividends against your Swiss tax, but only when every foreign position is listed — which a return filed as one total with the broker statement attached never does. With the eCH-0196 file your cantonal software imports every position and builds the DA-1 from the same figures. CHF 3,000 of US dividends is CHF 450 on that sheet. What the DA-1 is, in plain words.
What the money does not buy
We prepare the statement. We do not file your return, submit anything, sign anything, or give tax advice. The figures are built from your own export and you are responsible for what you sign — which is why you see all of them before you pay.
Refunds, plainly
Switzerland has no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases, so this is a promise we make rather than one the law makes for us: if your canton rejects the import, tell us which canton and what it said within 30 days and we refund the full amount. Ask before buying if anything here is unclear.
